Protein-Touch
A tool for the identification of residues
critical in protein-protein interactions
last modified: August 13, 2010.
Protein-Touch is a theoretical method that allows to identify protein
residues that are important for the formation of protein-protein
complexes.

When we make blind tests on a set of proteins that form characterized
complexes, the regions of interaction resulting from our predictions
overlap with the regions experimentally determined. The method has
general application provided that the proteins do not interact transiently
and weakly, or exclusively through the mediation of very short motifs.
